July 1998: I received my B.Sc. degree in Systems and Biomedical Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt.
Since then, I was appointed as a teaching assistant at the same university.
May 2001: I received Masters' of Science in Systems and Biomedical Engineering, Cairo University. The title of the Master thesis was "Solving Steiner Tree Problem for the Optimization of Medical Gas Networks".
May 2001- Sept. 2003: I joind, as PhD student,
the Graduate School for Bioinformatics,
Bielefeld University, Germany.
Oct 2003-2005: PhD student at the working group of Bioinformatics, Ulm University, Germany.
July 2005: I received my PhD from University of Ulm, Germany.
